A high‑speed Fortune car lost control on Captain Pul bridge in Purnia, Bihar, and plunged into the Soura River, killing driver Babulal Vishwas, a cousin of former MP Santosh Kushwaha.
At around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, a Fortune car traveling at high speed on Captain Pul bridge in Purnia, Bihar, lost control and plunged into the Soura River. The vehicle sank quickly, and the driver, Babulal Vishwas, was not rescued. Vishwas is reported to be a cousin of former Member of Parliament Santosh Kushwaha.
Local police have cordoned off the area and are investigating the circumstances of the crash. Witnesses say the car was moving rapidly before it veered off the bridge. No other vehicles were involved.
