Former Rajasthan legislator Atar Singh Bhadana died after being beaten to death during a violent clash over a crusher plant and mining lease route in Bharatpur. His body has been taken to his village and a funeral is scheduled in Faridabad.

The body of former Rajasthan legislator Atar Singh Bhadana was brought to his native village after he was killed in a violent confrontation in Bharatpur district. According to local reports, the clash erupted over a two‑year‑old dispute concerning the alignment of a crusher plant and a mining lease route.

The disagreement, which had been simmering for almost two years, turned deadly when parties involved resorted to physical violence, resulting in Bhadana being beaten to death. He had previously served as the MLA from the Bayana constituency.

Police officials arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the homicide. The authorities have not yet disclosed the number of arrests made, but they confirmed that forensic teams are processing the site.

Bhadana's relatives have taken his remains to his village, and arrangements have been made for his last rites to be performed in Faridabad, Haryana, where he had strong family ties.

The incident adds a new dimension to the ongoing tension over mining and industrial projects in the region, prompting calls for a swift legal resolution and stricter enforcement of law and order.
