Former Manipur HC Chief Justice Siddharth Mridul Nominates Himself for SCBA Presidency

Siddharth Mridul, who served as the chief justice of the Manipur High Court, has submitted his nomination to contest the upcoming election for the presidency of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA). The nomination was filed with the SCBA election committee on Monday, marking Mridul’s entry into the national bar’s leadership race.

The SCBA, which represents lawyers practising before the Supreme Court, holds elections every two years to choose a president who will oversee the association’s activities and represent the bar’s interests.
