The former chairman of Karnataka Public Service Commission, recently suspended over alleged nepotism, is now under a fresh criminal probe for manipulating veterinary officer recruitment through bribery and exam fraud.
The former chairman of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) was suspended earlier this month after allegations surfaced that he had appointed his daughters to government posts. The suspension followed a probe into nepotism that raised questions about his conduct while in office. Now, police have registered a new case against him and several others, accusing them of manipulating the recruitment process for veterinary officers. The complaint alleges that the accused used favouritism, bribery and examination fraud to secure positions for selected candidates. The investigation is ongoing and no charges have yet been formally filed.
