FIR Filed Against Two Individuals for Obstructing Panchayat Secretary in Cavelossim

Police in Goa have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against two individuals who allegedly obstructed the secretary at the Cavelossim Panchayat office. The incident took place on 12 September 2024 in the administrative building of the Cavelossim Panchayat. According to police statements, the accused tried to prevent the secretary from carrying out official duties, leading to a brief confrontation. The panchayat secretary reported the incident to the local police station, which immediately registered the FIR under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. The accused are currently in police custody and are expected to be produced before the court for further proceedings.
