FEI Suspends Indian Equestrian Federation, Bans Riders from International Events

The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) announced that the Indian Equestrian Federation (EFI) has been suspended effective 1 December, citing technical reasons. The suspension bars all Indian riders from taking part in international equestrian competitions until further notice. The decision was communicated as a shock to the Indian riding community, which now faces uncertainty over participation in upcoming events abroad. The FEI did not elaborate on the specific technical issues that led to the sanction. Indian riders and officials will have to await clarification from the governing bodies before resuming international competition.
