CBI's charge sheet labels Tavisha Sharma's death as suicide, but her father says she was murdered and will challenge the finding in court.

Jaipur, Rajasthan – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has submitted a charge sheet that classifies the death of 22-year-old Tavisha Sharma as a suicide. The filing, based on the agency's forensic and circumstantial assessment, concludes that there is no evidence of foul play.

Tavisha's father, Navnidhi Sharma, publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the CBI's conclusion, insisting that his daughter was a victim of homicide. He alleged that critical evidence was overlooked and that the investigation was incomplete.

Navnidhi Sharma announced his intention to file a legal challenge against the charge sheet, seeking a re‑examination of the case by a higher court. He has also appealed to senior officials for a fresh inquiry.

The matter is now poised to move to the judiciary, where the court will decide whether to uphold the CBI's suicide ruling or order a new investigation into the alleged murder.
