On Monday morning, a motorbike rider named Savitri Devi was struck by an unidentified vehicle on National Highway 31 near the CNG turn in Begusarai district, Bihar. The collision occurred in the Bihat area, close to the CNG junction, and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
Savitri Devi, who was returning from a Puja ceremony, suffered fatal injuries in the impact. Her husband, Shivdhan Pandit, was also on the motorcycle and was taken to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
