The farmers in Damoh were upset due to the sudden halt in the weighing and auction process at the local agricultural market. They decided to block the Sagar-Damoh highway to express their dissatisfaction. The blockade lasted for about an hour, causing inconvenience to commuters. The tehsildar, Robin Jain, intervened and managed to persuade the farmers to call off the protest. However, the issue remains unresolved, and the farmers have now locked the gate of the market.
