Family of Tanush Goes to Khandwa Police After Two Months, Blames Municipal Negligence

Two months after the death of a minor named Tanush in Omkareshwar, Khandwa, his relatives visited the local police station demanding a fresh investigation and accusing the municipal council of negligence.
Khandwa police officials said that the family of a minor, identified as Tanush, arrived at the station on Thursday, two months after his death in the Omkareshwar locality. The relatives reiterated their earlier complaint and asked for a renewed inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the boy's demise.
The mourners alleged that the municipal council had been negligent in maintaining basic safety standards in the area, which they claim contributed to the tragic incident. They demanded that the council be held accountable and that any lapses be thoroughly examined.
Police officers recorded the statements of the family members and assured that the case would be reopened for further scrutiny. The investigation, which was initially registered shortly after the death, is now being revisited in light of the new allegations.
