Fake IAS Officer Trupti Singh Nabbed in Bhopal for Rs 39.17 Lakh Tourism Lease Fraud

Police in Bhopal’s Bagsevania area have arrested self‑styled IAS officer Trupti Singh, her brother and two accomplices for allegedly cheating Rs 39.17 lakh by promising a lease of an MP tourism hotel‑resort and job placement.
The Bagsevania police station in Bhopal registered a fraud case after detaining a woman calling herself IAS officer Trupti Singh, her brother and two other suspects. Investigators said the quartet posed as officials capable of securing a lease for a Madhya Pradesh tourism hotel‑resort and arranging government jobs for the victims.
According to the police report, the accused collected a total of Rs 39.17 lakh from several individuals who were promised lucrative lease agreements and immediate employment. The money was handed over in cash after the victims were convinced that the lease would be granted by the state tourism department.
The case has been filed under sections dealing with cheating and criminal conspiracy. The accused are currently in custody and will appear before the court for further proceedings. Authorities warned the public to verify the credentials of anyone offering official contracts or job placements.
