The joint venture between Escorts and Kubota sold 16,921 tractors across India in September 2026, marking a strong month for the agricultural equipment maker.
Escorts Kubota, the Indo‑Japanese tractor manufacturer, reported that 16,921 units were sold in September 2026. The figure reflects the total number of tractors delivered to dealers and end‑users nationwide during the month.
The sales data, sourced from Tractor Junction, underscores a robust demand for mechanised farming solutions as Indian farmers continue to adopt higher‑powered equipment. The company attributes the performance to its expanded dealer network and the launch of newer models that cater to diverse crop cycles.
Industry analysts note that the September tally places Escorts Kubota among the top-selling tractor brands for the quarter, signalling steady growth in the agricultural machinery segment despite seasonal fluctuations.
The firm plans to sustain the momentum by strengthening after‑sales service and rolling out additional variants tailored to small and marginal farmers later in the year.
