The Education Service Board has decided not to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test in Madhya Pradesh, a move that follows a proposed offline exam schedule that would have seen more than 150,000 teachers apply.

The Education Service Board (ESB) announced today that it will not conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) in Madhya Pradesh.

The decision follows a proposal to hold the exam offline, which had been under consideration by the board.

Under the proposed schedule, more than 150,000 teachers were expected to register, making it one of the largest TET cohorts in the state.

Education officials in the state have expressed concerns about the feasibility of the offline format and the potential impact on teacher recruitment.
