A group of undergraduate students at East Point Engineering announced the development of a new artificial‑intelligence based system designed to identify deepfake videos. The prototype leverages machine‑learning algorithms that analyze visual and audio cues to flag manipulated content.
The students say the tool can detect subtle inconsistencies in facial movements, lighting, and audio synchronization that are often missed by the human eye.
