Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, recently remarked that Mukesh Ambani might serve as India's Prime Minister, sparking debate over the implications for India's political landscape and strategic autonomy.
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, made a surprising statement during a recent interview, suggesting that Mukesh Ambani, the billionaire chairman of Reliance Industries, could be a suitable candidate for India's Prime Minister.
The remark, which was shared on social media, has drawn attention from political commentators who argue that Ambani's business acumen could bring a new perspective to governance, while critics warn that it blurs the line between corporate power and public office.
Some analysts point out that such comments raise questions about India's strategic autonomy, especially in the context of its evolving foreign policy and its relationship with global powers.
While no official response has been issued by the Indian government, the comment has sparked a broader debate about the role of business leaders in politics and the future direction of India's leadership.
