During a school inspection in Bagru, an elderly resident shouted offensive remarks, prompting condemnation and a response from CJP activist Rekha Sharma, who recounted her own experience.

The Centre for Justice and Peace (CJP) conducted a routine inspection of a government school in Bagru, a town in Jaipur district, Rajasthan, on Monday. Inspectors were reviewing infrastructure and safety standards when an elderly resident intervened.

The man reportedly shouted, "Call women to beat her" and added, "She is Pakistani," referring to a female student present at the site. The remarks were captured on video and quickly circulated on social media, drawing criticism from educators and local residents.

CJP’s female activist Rekha Sharma, who was part of the inspection team, later spoke about the incident, sharing a personal account of similar harassment she faced earlier in her career. She said the episode underscores the need for respectful conduct during school visits and called for stricter measures to protect students and staff from verbal abuse.
