Eicher Trucks & Buses has inaugurated a new skill development centre in Haryana aimed at training the next generation of commercial vehicle (CV) operators and technicians.
Eicher Trucks & Buses Ltd. inaugurated a state‑of‑the‑art skill development centre in Haryana on Thursday, signalling a major investment in the commercial vehicle (CV) workforce.
The facility, located in the industrial corridor of Haryana, offers hands‑on training in CV driving, maintenance, and safety protocols. It is designed to equip young professionals with the technical and soft skills required to meet the growing demand for skilled CV operators.
The launch was attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, as well as local industry leaders. Eicher’s CEO highlighted the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and reducing skill gaps in the automotive sector.
The centre is expected to train over 5,000 aspirants annually, with a focus on inclusive employment for women and under‑represented communities. Eicher plans to expand the programme to other states in the coming years, reinforcing its role as a key player in India’s CV ecosystem.
