Top education officials gathered in Goa today for the launch of the ET Education Chancellors’ Conclave 2026, a forum aimed at shaping the sector’s future.
Education policymakers and university chancellors from across India assembled in Goa on Thursday to kick off the ET Education Chancellors’ Conclave 2026. The three‑day conclave, organised by ET Education, brings together senior academic leaders to discuss emerging trends and challenges in Indian higher education.
The inaugural session featured an overview of the agenda, which includes panels on curriculum innovation, digital learning infrastructure, and strategies for improving access and equity. Participants are expected to share best‑practice models and explore collaborative initiatives that can strengthen the sector.
Organisers said the conclave will serve as a platform for dialogue between government bodies, private institutions, and industry stakeholders, aiming to align educational outcomes with the nation’s economic goals. The event will conclude with a set of recommendations to be presented to policymakers.
The gathering underscores Goa’s growing role as a venue for national-level academic forums, reflecting the state’s emphasis on education and tourism infrastructure.
ET Education will publish a detailed report of the conclave’s discussions and outcomes later this month.
