ED raids GMADA Phase-8 office in Mohali, seals headquarters, probes auction site finances

The Enforcement Directorate continued its operation at the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority’s Puda building in Phase‑8, sealing the authority’s headquarters and questioning senior officials over alleged financial irregularities at two auction sites.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) remained on the premises of the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) at the Puda building in Phase‑8 of Mohali, Punjab, 24 hours after its initial raid.
ED officials sealed the authority’s headquarters, securing files, computers and other records that could be relevant to the probe.
Investigators focused on alleged financial manipulation at two auction sites managed by GMADA, alleging that the processes may have been compromised for personal gain.
Senior GMADA officers were summoned for questioning, and the agency confirmed that the inquiry is ongoing, with no arrests announced at this stage.
