The Enforcement Directorate raided the former chairman of the Karnataka Public Service Commission and several sites in Karnataka on Thursday, alleging irregularities in the commission’s recruitment processes.
On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate carried out raids on the former chairman of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) and several other locations across Karnataka.
The operation was aimed at investigating alleged irregularities in the commission’s recruitment processes.
According to ED officials, the raids were conducted after receiving intelligence about possible manipulation of candidate selection and the issuance of fraudulent certificates.
The Directorate has seized documents, electronic records and other evidence that may be used in a forthcoming prosecution. KPSC has stated that it will fully cooperate with the investigation and that it remains committed to upholding transparent recruitment standards.
