The Enforcement Directorate has seized assets worth Rs 103 crore linked to the founder of a housing society, as part of a money‑laundering probe.

New Delhi – The Enforcement Directorate (ED) announced on Tuesday that it has frozen assets valued at Rs 103 crore belonging to the founder of a housing society. The move is part of a broader investigation into alleged money‑laundering activities connected to the society’s financial dealings. According to the agency’s statement, the frozen assets include bank balances, immovable properties and other investments held in the founder’s name. The ED has not disclosed the name of the society or the individual, citing ongoing investigative procedures. Authorities said the action aims to prevent any dissipation of funds while the case proceeds through the legal system.
