The Enforcement Directorate searched seven locations across Chhattisgarh as part of its investigation into alleged irregularities in the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), India's agency for probing financial crimes, carried out coordinated raids at seven premises in Chhattisgarh. The operation is linked to an ongoing investigation into the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) and possible misconduct in its recruitment processes.

According to officials, the raids targeted individuals and entities suspected of involvement in financial irregularities related to CGPSC examinations. Seized material reportedly includes documents, electronic devices and financial records that may shed light on the alleged wrongdoing.

The ED has not disclosed the identities of any persons detained or the specific charges being examined. The CGPSC has refrained from commenting, while the state government said it will fully cooperate with the central agency.

These actions come as part of a broader scrutiny of public service recruitment bodies across the country following several high‑profile scandals in recent years.
