Amid vote chori allegations, Election Commission data from West Bengal and Bihar shows that opposition parties won seats where there were high deletions in the Summary of Electoral Rolls.
The controversy over alleged vote chori has intensified after the Election Commission released data from West Bengal and Bihar.
According to the EC figures, opposition candidates secured victories in several constituencies where the Summary of Electoral Rolls recorded a high number of deletions.
The data is being cited by political parties as evidence in the ongoing debate, though the Commission has not commented further on the implications.
