After the revision, the final updated rolls will be published on January 21, after which the states and UTs will be notified to the Election Commission.
The EC said the process will be carried out in accordance with the Representation of the People Act, 1950, and will involve the respective state election commissions.
The move comes ahead of the general elections scheduled for 2024, ensuring voters have reliable records.
