Duplicate Registration: Two Buses with MP10P0603 Seized in Sagar and Begamganj

During a festival‑time inspection, the Madhya Pradesh transport department discovered two passenger buses bearing the same registration number MP10P0603, one seized in Sagar and the other in Begamganj, Raisen.
The Madhya Pradesh Transport Department intensified vehicle checks ahead of the upcoming festive season. During a routine verification in Sagar, officials identified a passenger bus bearing the registration MP10P0603 and immediately detained it for further scrutiny.
A separate sweep in Begamganj, a town in Raisen district, revealed another bus carrying the identical registration number. Transport officials seized this second vehicle as well, noting the clear duplication of the licence plate.
Both seizures have prompted the department to launch an investigation into possible fraudulent registration or misuse of vehicle documents. Authorities have warned that any operator found violating motor vehicle regulations could face penalties under the Motor Vehicles Act.
