Drunk woman stages high‑voltage disturbance at Raisen’s Mahamaya Chowk, police recover phone

Around midnight, a young woman in Raisen reported her mobile phone missing and, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, began a disruptive act that involved playing with a high‑voltage line near Mahamaya Chowk. She lay on the road and continued to create a disturbance, drawing the attention of passers‑by and local authorities.
Police officers arriving at the scene located the missing mobile device, returned it to the woman and explained the seriousness of her conduct. After the brief interaction, the officers escorted her to a bus that would take her to Bhopal, ensuring she left the area safely.
No injuries were reported, and the incident was recorded as a public order disturbance. Authorities emphasized that such behaviour, especially involving electrical infrastructure, poses risks to both the individual and the community.
