A speeding car collided with a woman riding a two-wheeler in Vasai, Palghar district, and the driver fled the scene, police said.
A vehicle travelling at high speed hit a woman on a two-wheeler on a road in Vasai, a town in Palghar district, early on Monday. The impact caused the two-wheeler to overturn, and the woman sustained injuries that required medical attention.
Police officials arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and began an investigation. Witnesses reported that the driver of the car did not stop after the collision and sped away, prompting a search operation.
