On its ninth day worldwide, Drishyam 3 overtook Hanuman Ansh to become the third‑highest‑grossing Bollywood release of 2026, according to IMDb.
The thriller sequel Drishyam 3 recorded a significant box‑office milestone on its ninth day of global release, moving past Hanuman Ansh to claim the third‑highest cumulative gross for a Bollywood film in 2026, as reported by IMDb. This achievement places the film firmly among the year’s top‑earning Indian productions.
The crossover of strong word‑of‑mouth promotion and a wide theatrical footprint contributed to the rapid earnings surge. By day nine, the film’s worldwide receipts had eclipsed those of Hanuman Ansh, which had previously held the third spot.
Industry analysts note that securing the third position without the benefit of a major festival premiere underscores the franchise’s enduring appeal. The film is expected to continue drawing audiences in the coming weeks, potentially narrowing the gap with the two leading Bollywood releases of the year.
