Ajay Devgn’s thriller Drishyam 3 amassed a total box‑office gross of ₹407 crore by its eighth day, remaining ₹21 crore behind the top‑grossing Hanuman Ansh.
The Ajay Devgn‑starrer Drishyam 3 marked its eighth day at the box office with a cumulative collection of ₹407 crore across India. This figure places the film ₹21 crore behind the current leader, Hanuman Ansh, which continues to dominate the weekend charts.
Since its release, Drishyam 3 has drawn strong footfall in metropolitan centres and tier‑2 cities alike, benefitting from the franchise’s established fan base and positive word‑of‑mouth. The film’s suspense‑driven narrative and star power have helped sustain a steady daily growth rate, despite stiff competition from other releases.
Industry analysts note that while the gap with Hanuman Ansh is notable, Drishyam 3’s momentum could narrow it if the current trend holds. The film’s performance is being closely watched as a barometer for the viability of high‑budget thrillers in the post‑pandemic market.
