Director Health Services Kashmir Reviews Healthcare Delivery in Budgam District
Dr. Nighat Yasmeen, Director Health Services Kashmir, today visited District Budgam along with a team of divisional-level officers to review the overall functioning of the healthcare system and assess the delivery of health services across the district. The review meeting was attended by senior officers of the Health Department of District Budgam, during which various operational issues, service delivery gaps and measures for strengthening healthcare facilities were discussed.
During the visit, the Director also inspected District Hospital Budgam to assess the availability and functioning of patient care services, essential facilities, manpower and medical equipment. She interacted with the concerned officers and reviewed measures for further improving patient care.
Later, Dr. Yasmeen visited the new building site of District Hospital Budgam to review the progress of ongoing construction works. She took stock of the physical progress and stressed the importance of timely completion of the project to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and expand patient care facilities in the district.
