The DMK has opted out of an all-party meeting on Tamil Nadu’s delimitation and has raised concerns over the stance of the Chief Minister, T. V. Karthikeyan, on the issue.

The DMK has announced that it will not attend the all-party meeting scheduled to discuss the delimitation of constituencies in Tamil Nadu. The party’s decision to skip the session was seen as a protest against the current handling of the delimitation process.

In a statement, DMK leaders questioned the position of Chief Minister T. V. Karthikeyan on the delimitation issue, expressing concerns that the government’s approach may not reflect the interests of all parties involved.

The delimitation debate has intensified as the state prepares to redraw electoral boundaries, a move that could alter the political landscape in upcoming elections.
