Bollywood director Vipul Amrutlal Shah has announced that he will helm five new projects spanning theatrical releases and OTT platforms over the coming twelve months.
Veteran filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah disclosed that he is set to undertake five distinct projects within the next twelve months, covering both traditional cinema and over‑the‑top streaming services. The announcement was made exclusively to Bollywood Hungama, confirming the director’s ambitious slate for the upcoming year.
The planned ventures will include a mix of big‑screen releases and digital‑first content, reflecting Shah’s intent to balance conventional film distribution with the rapidly expanding OTT market. While specific titles and collaborators were not disclosed, the count of five projects signals a busy production schedule for the director.
Industry observers note that Shah’s dual‑track approach mirrors broader trends in Indian entertainment, where creators increasingly hedge between theatrical and streaming platforms to maximise audience reach and revenue potential.
