Singh said that the personal ambitions of Scindia and Kamal Nath created a rift that weakened the ruling coalition. He added that Jyotiraditya Mahindra’s insistence on appointing Silawat as the Pradesh Congress Committee chief was another factor that strained intra‑party relations.
