A hospital vehicle ran out of diesel, leaving a mother and her newborn waiting on the steps of the facility.

Earlier today a hospital support vehicle stalled after its diesel tank was found empty, causing a disruption for a mother who had just delivered a baby. The mother, accompanied by her newborn, was forced to sit on the steps of the hospital entrance while staff arranged alternative transport.
The incident highlighted the immediate vulnerability of patients when essential service vehicles face fuel shortages. Hospital officials said they were alerted to the problem and quickly dispatched a backup ambulance, but the delay left the mother exposed to the elements.
Hospital administration confirmed that the diesel supply issue was an isolated incident and that routine checks would be intensified to prevent recurrence. They also assured that the newborn received all required medical attention despite the inconvenience.
Authorities are being urged to review fuel logistics for emergency vehicles across medical facilities to ensure uninterrupted care for patients in critical moments.
