The Haridwar‑Rishikesh Ganga corridor, a key pilgrimage and tourism route, witnessed a significant development today as Uttarakhand Minister Dhami inaugurated several infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity and boosting local economy.
The projects include the construction of a new bridge over the Ganga, widening of the main road linking Haridwar and Rishikesh, and the installation of modern lighting and signage along the route.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dhami highlighted that the corridor will become more accessible for pilgrims and tourists, and that the projects are part of a broader plan to promote sustainable tourism in Uttarakhand.
