Dhaksha Unmanned Systems has inaugurated a new facility in Tamil Nadu to manufacture drones, marking a significant expansion in the company's production capacity.
Dhaksha Unmanned Systems officially inaugurated a state‑of‑the‑art drone manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu on Monday, according to a release from AgroSpectrum India. The plant, equipped with modern assembly lines and testing bays, is designed to produce a range of unmanned aerial vehicles for commercial and industrial applications.
The new facility is part of the company's broader strategy to scale up production and meet growing demand from sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure monitoring and defence. By localising manufacturing, Dhaksha aims to reduce lead times and lower costs for Indian customers.
Industry analysts expect the plant to generate several hundred direct jobs and stimulate ancillary services in the region, boosting the local economy. The company also indicated plans to expand its research and development capabilities at the site, positioning Tamil Nadu as a hub for advanced drone technology.
With the inauguration, Dhaksha Unmanned Systems reinforces its commitment to strengthening India's indigenous UAV ecosystem and supporting the country's push towards technology‑driven growth.
