Pilgrims gathered to worship Mother Kalratri, believing the rituals can lessen Saturn’s adverse influence and grant the protective boon of Abhay.
In several towns across Bihar, devotees assembled at local shrines dedicated to Mother Kalratri to perform special puja rituals. The gatherings, reported by regional media, were organised in response to growing concerns about the astrological impact of Saturn (Shani) during its current transit.
According to traditional belief, Saturn’s position can bring challenges such as delays, health issues, and financial strain. Worshippers contend that sincere devotion to Kalratri, a form of the Divine Mother, can mitigate these malefic effects and restore balance in personal and professional life.
Organisers highlighted that participants would receive the ‘Abhay’ blessing – a symbolic grant of protection and courage – as part of the ceremony. The event concluded with communal prayers and the distribution of sacred offerings, reinforcing the community’s faith in the deity’s protective power.
