Deputy Tehsildar’s Government Vehicle Hit in Shahdol; Driver and Owner Arrested

Police in Shahdol’s Devlond area arrested the driver and owner of a vehicle that collided with the deputy tehsildar’s official car, following action by two special teams led by SP Dr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal.
Shahdol district police reported that a private vehicle struck the official car of the deputy tehsildar in the Devlond police‑station jurisdiction. The incident prompted immediate investigation by two specially formed teams under the direction of Superintendent of Police Dr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal.
The teams located the driver and the vehicle’s owner, detained them at the scene, and transferred them to the Shahdol police station for further questioning. Both individuals were charged with causing a collision involving a government vehicle, a violation that carries strict legal consequences.
Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported among the officials in the tehsildar’s car. The police continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash, including possible traffic rule breaches, to determine if additional legal action is warranted.
