Four 15th-century tombs in south Delhi's Zamrudpur area are now garbage dumps. These Lodhi-era tombs are hidden amidst cramped lanes and buildings.

In the heart of south Delhi, just metres away from the bustling GK-1 area, lies a hidden gem that has been overshadowed by the rapid urbanization of the city. The Zamrudpur area is home to four 15th-century tombs that date back to the Lodhi era. Unfortunately, these historical structures have been reduced to garbage dumps, with the surrounding area filled with cramped lanes and buildings. The tombs, which are a testament to the city's rich cultural heritage, are in dire need of attention and conservation. The neglect of these monuments is a stark reminder of the city's apathy towards its historical treasures.
