Delhi's Air Quality Worsens, Triggering Winter Action Plan

Delhi residents woke up to a hazy morning on Saturday, as the city's air quality index (AQI) registered 'poor' levels for the first time this season. This early deterioration in air quality has prompted the Delhi government to activate its winter action plan, aimed at mitigating pollution during the colder months. The plan includes measures such as regulating industrial emissions, promoting public transport, and increasing the frequency of anti-dust campaigns. The government is urging citizens to take precautions and avoid outdoor activities during peak pollution hours.
