Delhi Youth Drowns in Narmada River During Omkareshwar Visit

A 17-year-old tourist from Delhi drowned in the Narmada River near Omkareshwar after venturing into deep water while bathing. One companion was rescued by locals.
A tragic incident occurred in Omkareshwar where a young tourist from Delhi lost his life after drowning in the Narmada River. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Ajay Sahu.
Sahu, along with another companion, had traveled from Delhi to Omkareshwar for pilgrimage. While bathing in the Narmada River, both youths reportedly waded into deeper sections of the water.
Prompt action by local residents led to the rescue of one of the youths. However, Ajay Sahu could not be saved and his body was later recovered by the authorities. Police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
