Delhi University Extends Seat Acceptance Deadline for CSAS Round‑2

Delhi University has released a revised schedule for its CSAS Round‑2 admissions, giving candidates who secure seats an extended deadline to accept them.
Delhi University (DU) has announced a revised timetable for the second round of its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2026 undergraduate admissions. The new schedule, released by the university’s admissions office, extends the deadline for candidates who have been allotted seats to accept them.
Under the updated plan, the seat acceptance window will now close on 30 September 2025, a week later than the original date of 23 September. Candidates are required to confirm their acceptance by submitting the necessary documents and paying the admission fee within this extended period.
The change is aimed at giving students more flexibility, especially those who may need additional time to arrange finances or travel. DU has stated that all allotted seats will remain valid until the new deadline, provided the acceptance process is completed on time.
Applicants who have already accepted their seats will not be affected, while those who have not yet responded can now use the extra days to finalize their decision. The university urges all candidates to act promptly to secure their place in the desired course.
