Traffic police in Delhi stopped several private buses that were operating by exploiting a loophole in existing regulations, citing safety and legal concerns.

Officials said the buses were using a loophole that allowed them to operate without the required permits, raising concerns over passenger safety and revenue loss for state-run services.
The police conducted spot checks at several busy junctions, directing the identified buses to pull over and presenting the drivers with citations. The action was taken in coordination with the Delhi Transport Department, which is reviewing the regulatory gap that enabled the illegal operations.
