Delhi Police nab alleged Goldy Brar gang operative in Rs 1 crore extortion case

Delhi police announced the arrest of an individual believed to be part of the Goldy Brar criminal network in a case involving extortion of approximately one crore rupees. The suspect was taken into custody after investigators linked him to the alleged demand for money from a local business entity. Police officials said the operation was carried out in accordance with standard procedures and that the detainee will be presented before a magistrate shortly.

Authorities have not disclosed the identity of the victim or the exact method of extortion, but confirmed that the case is being investigated under the Indian Penal Code provisions for extortion and organized crime.
