Delhi police's Special Cell disrupted a major gangwar conspiracy, arresting two active gang members—one with nine pending cases and the other with fourteen.
Delhi Police’s Special Cell carried out a coordinated operation in the National Capital Region, preventing a large‑scale gangwar conspiracy that had been planned by rival criminal outfits.
During the raid, two active members of the gangs were taken into custody. Investigators confirmed that one suspect has nine cases registered against him, while the other faces fourteen pending cases.
The arrest is part of an ongoing crackdown on organized crime in Delhi, aimed at dismantling networks that threaten public safety. Police officials said the operation was executed after gathering intelligence on the planned confrontation.
The two suspects are currently being processed under the Prevention of Crime Act and other relevant statutes. Authorities have indicated that further investigations are underway to identify additional conspirators and to trace the chain of command within the gangs.
