Delhi Police Constable Arrested in Kidnapping-Extortion Case

Delhi Police constable Moin Ali was arrested on Thursday along with an associate in a kidnapping and extortion case. The arrest came after an investigation that uncovered evidence of the pair’s involvement in abducting a businessman and demanding a ransom. Police said the duo had been planning the operation for months and had used intimidation tactics to coerce the victim into paying. The constable is now facing charges under the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Extortion Act. Authorities are continuing to probe the case to identify any additional accomplices.
