The investigation led to the arrest of two individuals, 36‑year‑old Adib Khan and Anis Ali, one of whom previously served as a DSA for a bank.
During the operation, officers recovered Rs 6.95 lakh in cash from the suspects.
Police said the recovered amount will be returned to the defrauded victims after verification.
