Three men were arrested after police discovered pro-Khalistan slogans painted on walls of Delhi Metro stations. Authorities suspect the work is linked to a banned outfit.

Three men were taken into custody by Delhi Police after pro‑Khalistan slogans were found on the walls of several metro stations in the capital. The graffiti, which included the phrase "Khalistan Zindabad," was discovered during routine inspections on Monday morning. Police officials say the perpetrators used spray paint and were able to escape before the authorities could intervene.

Investigators have linked the incident to a banned separatist outfit, citing similarities in the style and content of the slogans with previous propaganda. The police are conducting a probe into the identities of the suspects and are reviewing CCTV footage from the affected stations to trace their movements.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued a statement urging commuters to report any suspicious activity and has increased security checks at key stations. The incident comes amid heightened scrutiny of extremist propaganda in public spaces across the country.

Delhi Police have announced that the arrested men will be charged under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and other relevant provisions. A further inquiry is expected to determine whether the graffiti was part of a larger campaign by the banned group.
