Lawyers from all district courts in Delhi have announced a work boycott on Monday to protest against the newly introduced rules for settling traffic challans.

Lawyers practicing in Delhi’s district courts have decided to abstain from court work on Monday. The decision comes after a collective opposition to the recent amendment in the procedure for settling traffic challans.

According to the announcement, no lawyer will appear for hearings or file any pleadings in any of the district courts across the city on the specified day. The boycott aims to pressure the authorities to reconsider the new rules.

The protest reflects growing concern among the legal community about the impact of the amended challan settlement process on litigants and judicial efficiency. Authorities have not yet issued an official response to the lawyers’ demand.
