The Delhi administration announced plans to create a dedicated Cyber Crime Coordination Centre to tackle online offenses.

The Delhi government has revealed its intention to establish a Cyber Crime Coordination Centre aimed at strengthening the city’s response to digital offences. The centre will function as a hub for monitoring, investigating and coordinating actions against cyber‑related crimes across the capital. Officials said it will bring together law‑enforcement agencies, cyber forensics experts and policy makers under one roof to streamline efforts. By centralising resources, the administration hopes to improve detection rates and provide quicker redressal for victims of online fraud, hacking and other cyber threats. The initiative reflects Delhi’s broader push to modernise its security infrastructure in line with rising internet usage.
